What we are looking for:
- 5+ years of experience as an Apache Groovy Developer or in a similar role.
- Proven experience in Apache Groovy development, with a solid understanding of scripting and automation.
- Familiarity with Grails or other Groovy-based frameworks is a plus.
- Proficient in version control systems, such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Apache Groovy.
- Collaborate with architects and other developers to ensure software solutions meet scalability and maintainability requirements.
- Utilise Apache Groovy for scripting and automation tasks to enhance development processes.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for system administration and deployment tasks.
- Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to coding standards.
- Stay up-to-date with Apache Groovy advancements and industry trends, incorporating new features into development practices.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks in Groovy applications.
- Optimise code and algorithms for improved application performance.
