The Role:


We are looking for a Senior Apache NiFi Developer for one of our clients who would be responsible for design, development, and optimization of data integration and data flow solutions using Apache NiFi. You are a perfect candidate if you are growth-oriented, you love what you do, and you enjoy working on new ideas to develop exciting products.

What we are looking for:


  • 5+ years of experience as an Apache NiFi Developer or in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in Apache NiFi development and optimization for data integration.
  • Solid understanding of data processing and ETL concepts.
  • Proficient in NiFi configurations, processors, and data provenance.
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, test, and maintain data integration and data flow solutions using Apache NiFi.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, system administrators, and other developers to implement scalable and efficient data pipelines.
  • Implement ETL processes and data transformations using Apache NiFi to ensure the reliability and efficiency of data workflows.
  • Optimise NiFi flows and configurations for performance and scalability.
  • Integrate Apache NiFi with various data sources and destinations, including databases, cloud services, and external APIs.
  • Collaborate with data architects to ensure seamless integration with the overall data architecture.
  • Implement monitoring solutions for NiFi flows to ensure data pipeline performance and availability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to NiFi infrastructure and data processing.
  • Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to coding standards.
  • Stay current with Apache NiFi advancements and industry trends, incorporating new features into development practices.
