The Role:

We are looking for a Senior AWS Developer for one of our clients who would be responsible for the development and deployment of scalable and secure cloud solutions on the AWS platform. You are a perfect candidate if you are growth-oriented, you love what you do, and you enjoy working on new ideas to develop exciting products.

What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of proven experience as an AWS Developer with a strong portfolio of successful cloud projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services and architecture, including AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EC2, and more.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust and scalable solutions on AWS, considering best practices and architectural principles.
  • Develop and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda and other serverless computing services.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Containerize applications using AWS services such as Amazon ECS or EKS, and manage container orchestration with tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Design and implement secure and scalable API gateways using AWS API Gateway.
  • Optimise and manage database solutions on AWS, including Amazon RDS, DynamoDB, and other AWS database services.
  • Implement security measures and best practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data stored and processed on AWS.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and other relevant tools.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimise AWS resources, and implement best practices for efficiency.
  • Set up monitoring and logging solutions using AWS CloudWatch and other relevant tools to ensure the health and performance of AWS resources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, development, and IT teams, to understand requirements and implement effective cloud solutions.
