The Role:

We are looking for a Senior Azure Cloud Developer for one of our clients who would be responsible for designing, developing, and optimising cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure. You are a perfect candidate if you are growth-oriented, you love what you do, and you enjoy working on new ideas to develop exciting products.

What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of proven experience as an Azure Cloud Developer with a strong portfolio of cloud-based projects.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Azure, including Azure Resource Manager, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure App Services, and more.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud development, IaC, and Azure DevOps.
  • Familiarity with security, compliance, and performance optimization in Azure.
  • Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure, including app services, databases, containers, and serverless functions.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of developers, ensuring best practices and high-quality solutions.
  • Collaborate with architects and other stakeholders to design scalable and secure cloud solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to automate the provisioning and management of Azure resources.
  • Leverage Azure DevOps for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable application deployments.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance standards in Azure to protect data and ensure regulatory requirements are met.
  • Set up monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of Azure resources. Optimise costs and resources.
  • Develop and execute test plans, perform code reviews, and ensure the reliability, functionality, and security of cloud applications.
