The Role:

We are looking for a Senior Azure Developer for one of our clients who would be responsible for the development and deployment of scalable and secure cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure. You are a perfect candidate if you are growth-oriented, you love what you do, and you enjoy working on new ideas to develop exciting products.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience as an Azure Developer with a strong portfolio of successful cloud projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure services and architecture, including Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure App Service, and more.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust and scalable solutions on Azure, considering best practices and architectural principles.
  • Develop applications using Azure PaaS services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and Azure Logic Apps.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or other relevant tools to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Containerize applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and manage container orchestration with tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Design and implement secure and scalable API management solutions using Azure API Management.
  • Optimise and manage database solutions on Azure, including Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, and other Azure database services.
  • Implement secure identity and access management solutions using Azure Active Directory and other Azure security services.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or other relevant tools.
  • Set up monitoring and logging solutions using Azure Monitor and other relevant tools to ensure the health and performance of Azure resources.
  • Implement security measures and best practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data stored and processed on Azure.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimise Azure resources, and implement best practices for efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, development, and IT teams, to understand requirements and implement effective cloud solutions.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members, sharing your expertise in Azure development and cloud architecture.
