The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer for one of our clients. You are a perfect candidate if you are growth-oriented, you love what you do, and you enjoy working on new ideas to develop exciting products.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Tableau for data visualisation, including advanced features such as calculated fields, parameters, and complex dashboards.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
- Proficiency in data modelling concepts and best practices to enable efficient reporting and analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced, interactive Tableau dashboards and reports that provide insight into business performance.
- Work closely with data engineers and analysts to define, model, and transform data to support reporting and visualisation needs.
- Perform in-depth data analysis to uncover trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement across various business functions.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver solutions that align with business objectives.
- Continuously optimise and enhance Tableau dashboards for performance, scalability, and ease of use.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability by implementing best practices for data validation, testing, and quality control.
- Create and maintain documentation for dashboards, data models, and data sources to enable a seamless handoff and collaboration with team members.
