The Role:

We are looking for a Senior CocoaPods Developer for one of our clients who would be responsible for the integration and management of third-party libraries and dependencies in our iOS and macOS applications. You are a perfect candidate if you are growth-oriented, you love what you do, and you enjoy working on new ideas to develop exciting products.

What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a CocoaPods Developer with a strong portfolio of iOS and macOS projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of CocoaPods, including configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C programming languages.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the integration and management of CocoaPods for third-party library dependencies in iOS and macOS projects.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate third-party libraries and dependencies, ensuring compatibility and adherence to project requirements.
  • Manage and maintain version control for CocoaPods dependencies, keeping abreast of updates and ensuring smooth updates across projects.
  • Develop and maintain custom CocoaPods for in-house libraries or reusable components to streamline development processes.
  • Collaborate with the development team to integrate CocoaPods seamlessly into the build and deployment processes.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to CocoaPods integration, ensuring the stability and reliability of the software projects.
  • Implement and advocate best practices for dependency management, ensuring code maintainability and scalability.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for CocoaPods integration processes, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior developers and team members, sharing your expertise in CocoaPods development.
