The Role:

We are looking for a Senior F# Developer for one of our clients who would be responsible for architecting and implementing functional and efficient solutions using the F# programming language. You are a perfect candidate if you are growth-oriented, you love what you do, and you enjoy working on new ideas to develop exciting products.

What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of proven experience as an F# Developer with a strong portfolio of successful software projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of the F# programming language and functional programming concepts.
  • Experience with .NET and the broader Microsoft technology stack.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications using the F# programming language.
  • Apply functional programming principles to create robust and scalable solutions.
  • Develop and implement complex algorithms and data structures to solve challenging problems.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimise code, and implement best practices for efficiency.
  • Design and implement APIs and interfaces to enable seamless integration with other components of the software ecosystem.
  • Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and contribute to the overall quality assurance process.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including code documentation and design specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including other developers, designers, and project managers, to deliver software solutions that meet project requirements.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
