The Role:

We are looking for a Senior Firebase Developer skilled at designing and building software for one of our clients. You are a perfect candidate if you are growth-oriented, you love what you do, and enjoy working on new ideas to develop exciting products.

What we are looking for:
  • Proven experience as a Firebase Developer with a strong portfolio of Firebase-based projects.
  • Deep expertise in Firebase services, including Realtime Database, Firestore, Authentication, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Storage.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js for developing Firebase Cloud Functions.
  • Experience with mobile application development (iOS and Android) and web development using Firebase.
  • Strong knowledge of Firebase security best practices and data modelling.
  • Familiarity with Firebase Analytics and Performance Monitoring.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect Firebase-based backend solutions that are scalable, secure, and optimised for performance.
  • Develop and maintain database structures, rules, and queries to support real-time data synchronisation and efficient querying.
  • Implement Firebase Authentication and set up access control to ensure user data security.
  • Create and manage Cloud Functions to automate server-side logic, notifications, and integrations.
  • Manage Firebase Cloud Storage for file uploads, downloads, and media storage.
  • Configure Firebase Analytics and set up monitoring and reporting to gain insights into user behaviour and application performance.
  • Establish a robust testing and deployment pipeline to ensure the reliability and stability of Firebase services.
  • Continuously monitor and optimise Firebase services for cost-effectiveness and performance improvement.
