The Role:

We are looking for a Senior Flask Developer for one of our clients who would be responsible for the development of robust and scalable web applications using the Flask framework. You are a perfect candidate if you are growth-oriented, you love what you do, and you enjoy working on new ideas to develop exciting products.

What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Flask Developer with a strong portfolio of successful web development projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Flask web framework and Python programming language.
  • Proficiency in working with databases and integrating them into Flask applications.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain server-side components and APIs using the Flask web framework.
  • Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB to implement data storage and retrieval functionalities.
  • Create efficient and well-documented RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications and third-party services.
  • Implement middleware components for request processing, authentication, and authorization.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimise code, and implement best practices to enhance application performance.
  • Implement security measures, including data encryption, authentication, and authorization, to protect web applications.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for server-side components, APIs, and best practices.
  • Work closely with front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver cohesive and effective web solutions.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
