The Role:

We are looking for a Senior Glide Developer for one of our clients who would be responsible for the development of mobile applications with a focus on user experience and performance. You are a perfect candidate if you are growth-oriented, you love what you do, and you enjoy working on new ideas to develop exciting products.

What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Glide Developer with a strong portfolio of successful mobile applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Glide framework and mobile app development best practices.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using the Glide framework.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces.
  • Integrate with various data sources and APIs to enhance the functionality of mobile applications.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimise Glide apps, and implement best practices for speed and efficiency.
  • Customise and extend Glide functionalities to meet the specific requirements of mobile applications.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of mobile applications.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain code quality standards.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for Glide app development, ensuring knowledge transfer within the development team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, back-end developers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
