We are looking for a Senior Magento Developer for one of our clients who would be responsible for leading the development and customization of e-commerce websites built on the Magento platform. You are a perfect candidate if you are growth-oriented, you love what you do, and you enjoy working on new ideas to develop exciting products.
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Magento developer with a strong portfolio of e-commerce websites.
- Expertise in Magento, PHP, MySQL, and web development technologies.
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce best practices, payment gateways, and Magento architecture.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and coding standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Lead the development of e-commerce websites using the Magento platform, customising and extending functionality to meet client requirements.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of developers, ensuring best practices and the delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Develop and customise Magento modules and extensions to enhance website features and functionality.
- Create and modify Magento themes to align with client branding and design requirements, ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience.
- Integrate Magento with third-party systems, payment gateways, APIs, and external data sources to facilitate e-commerce operations.
- Optimise website performance, focusing on speed, scalability, and security, and troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Implement testing and quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and stability of e-commerce websites.
- Implement security best practices and access controls to protect e-commerce websites from vulnerabilities and threats.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including custom module documentation, code documentation, and development guidelines.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and timelines are adhered to.
