The Role:

We are looking for a Senior Magento Developer for one of our clients who would be responsible for leading the development and customization of e-commerce websites built on the Magento platform. You are a perfect candidate if you are growth-oriented, you love what you do, and you enjoy working on new ideas to develop exciting products.

What we are looking for:

5+ years of proven experience as a Magento developer with a strong portfolio of e-commerce websites.
Expertise in Magento, PHP, MySQL, and web development technologies.
Strong knowledge of e-commerce best practices, payment gateways, and Magento architecture.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and coding standards.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

Lead the development of e-commerce websites using the Magento platform, customising and extending functionality to meet client requirements.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of developers, ensuring best practices and the delivery of high-quality solutions.
Develop and customise Magento modules and extensions to enhance website features and functionality.
Create and modify Magento themes to align with client branding and design requirements, ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience.
Integrate Magento with third-party systems, payment gateways, APIs, and external data sources to facilitate e-commerce operations.
Optimise website performance, focusing on speed, scalability, and security, and troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Implement testing and quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and stability of e-commerce websites.
Implement security best practices and access controls to protect e-commerce websites from vulnerabilities and threats.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including custom module documentation, code documentation, and development guidelines.
Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and timelines are adhered to.
