The Role:

We are looking for a Senior NativeScript Developer for one of our clients who would be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications using the NativeScript framework. You are a perfect candidate if you are growth-oriented, you love what you do, and you enjoy working on new ideas to develop exciting products.

What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a NativeScript developer with a strong portfolio of cross-platform mobile applications.
  • Expertise in NativeScript, JavaScript, TypeScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular).
  • Strong knowledge of mobile app development principles, UI/UX design, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of cross-platform mobile applications using NativeScript, ensuring a seamless and consistent user experience across iOS and Android.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of developers, promoting best practices and delivering high-quality mobile solutions.
  • Translate design mockups and wireframes into mobile app user interfaces, ensuring visual consistency and intuitive interactions.
  • Develop custom NativeScript plugins and extensions to extend app functionality and integrate with native device features.
  • Optimise mobile app performance, troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, and ensure efficient memory management.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Integrate mobile apps with external APIs, services, and databases, ensuring data accuracy and efficient data exchange.
  • Develop and execute test plans, perform code reviews, and ensure the reliability, functionality, and security of mobile applications.
  • Prepare and manage the deployment of mobile applications to the App Store and Google Play, adhering to platform-specific guidelines.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including app architecture, code documentation, and development guidelines.
