The Role:
We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer for one of our clients who would be responsible for the development of scalable and high-performance software solutions using the .NET framework. You are a perfect candidate if you are growth-oriented, you love what you do, and you enjoy working on new ideas to develop exciting products.
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years of proven experience as a .NET Developer with a strong portfolio of successful software projects.
- In-depth knowledge of the .NET framework, ASP.NET MVC/Core, C#, and related technologies.
- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and front-end frameworks is a plus.
- Proficiency in working with databases (e.g., SQL Server) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Entity Framework).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using the .NET framework, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Lead the design and architecture of .NET-based applications, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Develop web applications using ASP.NET MVC or ASP.NET Core, incorporating responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs using technologies such as ASP.NET Web API or ASP.NET Core Web API.
- Work with databases, such as SQL Server or others, to optimise data retrieval and storage processes.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain code quality standards.
- Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and contribute to the overall quality assurance process.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimise code for speed and efficiency.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for software architecture, code, and development processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, designers, and project managers, to deliver cohesive and effective software solutions.
- Provide guidance and support to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
