PHP Developer job
The Role:
- 5+ years of extensive experience as a PHP Developer or in a similar role.
- Proficient in PHP, with a good understanding of its ecosystem.
- Solid experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
- Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side PHP applications and web services.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.
- Integrate PHP applications with databases, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
- Write SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schema designs.
- Collaborate with architects and other developers to design and implement scalable and maintainable software solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers.
- Optimise PHP code for maximum performance and efficiency.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks in applications.
- Implement secure coding practices and conduct regular code reviews.
- Address and resolve security vulnerabilities in PHP applications.
