The Role:

We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer for one of our clients who would be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality PHP applications. You are a perfect candidate if you are growth-oriented, you love what you do, and you enjoy working on new ideas to develop exciting products.

What we are looking for:

5+ years of extensive experience as a PHP Developer or in a similar role.
Proficient in PHP, with a good understanding of its ecosystem.
Solid experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain server-side PHP applications and web services.
Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.
Integrate PHP applications with databases, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
Write SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schema designs.
Collaborate with architects and other developers to design and implement scalable and maintainable software solutions.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers.
Optimise PHP code for maximum performance and efficiency.
Identify and address performance bottlenecks in applications.
Implement secure coding practices and conduct regular code reviews.
Address and resolve security vulnerabilities in PHP applications.
