The Role:

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in SharePoint development, including experience with SharePoint Online and previous versions (e.g., 2013, 2016).
• Experience with SharePoint migrations to SharePoint Online, including hybrid environments.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline implementation for SharePoint development projects.
• Knowledge of modern collaboration tools and strategies within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Proficiency in SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development, including React and TypeScript.
• Expertise in SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Power Automate (Flow), and Nintex workflows.
• Strong experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, REST, CAML, and CSOM for custom SharePoint development.
• Experience with PowerApps for custom forms and business applications.
• Familiarity with SharePoint migration tools (e.g., ShareGate, Metalogix).
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 integrations (e.g., Teams, OneDrive) and Azure services (e.g., Logic Apps, Azure Functions).
• Understanding of SharePoint governance, permissions, and security best practices.
• Microsoft SharePoint certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Teamwork Administrator, Power Platform certifications) will be a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and customise SharePoint sites, web parts, lists, libraries, and workflows to meet business requirements.
• Create custom SharePoint solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web development technologies.
• Develop workflows and automate business processes using SharePoint Designer, Power Automate, and Nintex, ensuring smooth business operations and user-friendly solutions.
• Integrate SharePoint with other Microsoft 365 services, such as Teams, PowerApps, Power Automate, and third-party systems as needed.
• Lead SharePoint migration projects from legacy systems (e.g., SharePoint 2010/2013) to modern SharePoint Online, ensuring minimal business disruption.
• Implement and manage SharePoint permissions, security, and governance to ensure compliance with company policies and best practices.
• Enhance collaboration through the development and customization of intranet portals, document management systems, and knowledge-sharing platforms.
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting, debugging, and support for SharePoint solutions, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system architecture, workflows, and user guides.
• Monitor and optimise SharePoint site performance and security, ensuring a high-quality user experience.
