The Role:

We are looking for a Senior WooCommerce Developer for one of our clients who would be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance e-commerce websites using WooCommerce. You are a perfect candidate if you are growth-oriented, you love what you do, and you enjoy working on new ideas to develop exciting products.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience as a WooCommerce developer with a strong portfolio of e-commerce websites.
  • Proficiency in PHP and WordPress development (+5 years of experience).
  • +4-year expertise in WooCommerce, including custom plugin development and theme customization.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce best practices, payment gateways, and security.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of e-commerce websites using WooCommerce, customising and extending functionality to meet client requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of developers, ensuring best practices and the delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Develop and customise WooCommerce plugins and extensions to enhance website features and functionality.
  • Create and modify WordPress themes to align with client branding and design requirements, ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience.
  • Integrate WooCommerce with third-party systems, payment gateways, and APIs to facilitate e-commerce operations and data exchange.
  • Optimise website performance, focusing on speed, security, and scalability, and troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks.
  • Implement testing and quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and stability of e-commerce websites.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including code documentation, architecture diagrams, and development guidelines.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and timelines are adhered to.
