• Solid understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture principles.

• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Apache Kafka applications, producers, consumers, and stream processors.
• Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and system administrators to implement scalable and efficient Kafka solutions.
• Design and implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming.
• Optimise Kafka configurations and settings for performance and reliability.
• Integrate Apache Kafka with microservices architectures to enable seamless communication and data exchange.
• Collaborate with microservices developers to implement Kafka-based communication patterns.
• Implement monitoring solutions for Kafka clusters to ensure performance and availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kafka infrastructure and data streaming.
• Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to coding standards.
• Stay current with Apache Kafka advancements and industry trends, incorporating new features into development practices.
