What we are looking for:
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Caffe developer with a strong portfolio of machine learning and computer vision projects.
- Expertise in Caffe, deep learning, convolutional neural networks (CNNs), and computer vision.
- Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of machine learning and computer vision models and applications using the Caffe framework, adhering to best practices and optimization techniques.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of developers, ensuring best practices and the delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Collaborate with data scientists and researchers to design, train, and fine-tune deep learning models using Caffe, ensuring high accuracy and performance.
- Optimise model inference for deployment, focusing on speed, memory efficiency, and performance, and troubleshoot and resolve bottlenecks.
- Prepare and preprocess data for training and model evaluation, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Deploy machine learning models and applications in production environments, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Manage codebase and model versions using Git and other version control systems, ensuring code stability and collaboration.
- Develop and execute testing strategies, including unit tests and model evaluation, to ensure the reliability, functionality, and performance of AI applications.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including model architectures, code documentation, and development guidelines.
- Collaborate with data engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and timelines are adhered to.
