The Role:

We are looking for a Senior Electron Developer for one of our clients who would be responsible for architecting and implementing robust, efficient, and user-friendly desktop applications using Electron. You are a perfect candidate if you are growth-oriented, you love what you do, and you enjoy working on new ideas to develop exciting products.

What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of proven experience as an Electron Developer with a strong portfolio of successful desktop applications.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Node.js.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
  • In-depth understanding of Electron framework and cross-platform application development.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform desktop applications using Electron, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces.
  • Define and implement application architecture, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.
  • Integrate web technologies into desktop applications, leveraging your expertise in web development.
  • Ensure the seamless performance of applications across different operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimising code for speed and efficiency.
  • Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain code quality standards.
  • Implement testing strategies and perform debugging to ensure the reliability and stability of desktop applications.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for application architecture, code, and development processes.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative development environment.
