The Role:

We are looking for a Senior MySQL Developer for one of our clients who would be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and secure MySQL database solutions. You are a perfect candidate if you are growth-oriented, you love what you do, and you enjoy working on new ideas to develop exciting products.

What we are looking for:

5+ years of dedicated experience as a MySQL Developer or in a similar role.
Proficient in MySQL database administration, optimization, and maintenance.
Solid understanding of database design principles and normalisation.
Experience with performance tuning and query optimization.
Familiarity with database security best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement efficient and scalable database schemas.
Collaborate with application developers to ensure seamless integration between the application and the database.
Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers to support application development.
Develop and implement database standards and best practices.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in database systems.
Optimise queries for improved efficiency and responsiveness.
Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data.
Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Establish and maintain data integrity through data validation and error-checking routines.
Implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data reliability.
